COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. – Orgill, the world’s largest independent hardlines distributor, has added another retail industry veteran to its executive leadership team with the hiring of Sharmeelee “Sharms†Bala as its new chief digital and information officer.
We are excited to announce the addition of two new gas outdoor power equipment programs from industry leaders Echo and Husqvarna. Both brands are known for their strong market presence, brand recognition, and commitment to producing high-quality tools for both residential and professional users. We will soon be able to offer warehouse-backed programs from both brands across all our US distribution centers. Warehouse programs are being finalized now. This allows customers to quickly and efficiently replenish their stock directly from Orgill, eliminating the need to place large minimum orders with the vendor. The Husqvarna and Echo programs are registered dealer programs, each with its own approval process. Both vendors will evaluate new store location requests and verify that customers fulfill the necessary initial stocking requirements for participation. For any inquiries, please reach out to your Husqvarna or Echo representatives. The Husqvarna warehouse program is now fully set up in our system. We expect to be physically stocked for ordering and fulfillment from Orgill DCs by January 2026. Be on the lookout for special, attractive planogram deals to help interested dealers get into the Husqvarna program. The Echo program requires new dealers to place their initial stocking orders as dropship orders that are billed through Orgill. All subsequent orders can come from Orgill’s distribution centers, allowing for quick and easy replenishment. We are actively working to finalize the Echo warehouse program, and expect to have SKUs and inventory ready and available prior to our 2026 Spring Dealer Market. Echo will have a variety of modular planogram options that can be tailored to meet each customer's specific needs. We are excited about the potential for growth these industry-leading brands bring to our customers. Please stay tuned for more information and feel free to contact Tyler Hammers or Matt Ray for any questions!
